Christmas Eve Dinner

So I love my family but this year I was unable to make it home for the holidays so instead I decided to make tackle making my own Christmas eve dinner with a friend. Just a simple dinner for two... umm no. We made:

Appetizers:

Tiny Twice-Baked Potatoes (Fine Cooking Magazine)
Spinach & Artichoke Dip (Fine Cooking Magazine)

Main Dish:

Roast Duck with Apples (foodnetwork.com)

Side Dishes:

String Beans with (turkey) Bacon
Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes

Everything turned out wonderful, a few glasses of wine and some gin and tonic and the night was complete while we waited for Santa to come bring us our presents!
