Christmas Eve Dinner

So I love my family but this year I was unable to make it home for the holidays so instead I decided to make tackle making my own Christmas eve dinner with a friend. Just a simple dinner for two... umm no. We made:

Appetizers:

Tiny Twice-Baked Potatoes (Fine Cooking Magazine)
Spinach & Artichoke Dip (Fine Cooking Magazine)

Main Dish:

Roast Duck with Apples (foodnetwork.com)

Side Dishes:

String Beans with (turkey) Bacon
Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes

Everything turned out wonderful, a few glasses of wine and some gin and tonic and the night was complete while we waited for Santa to come bring us our presents!





Hello World!!!

So I have been thinking about it and I really wanted a place where I could share all of my food adventures; be it going out to new places or trying to make things on my own this seemed like a fun way to share those exciting experiences with others. Now it wont always be about food, but lets be honest, anyone that knows me knows that pretty much everything revolves around food for me, its a passion of mine.
